Information technology has improved rapidly, but there is no reason why progress should be limited to computers or Silicon Valley. Progress can be achieved in any industry or area of business. It comes from the most important skill that every leader must master: learning to think for yourself.</span><br style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: normal;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: "arial" , sans-serif; font-weight: normal;">Doing what someone else already knows how to do takes the world from 1 to n, adding more of something familiar. Tomorrow’s champions will not win by competing ruthlessly in today’s marketplace. They will escape competition altogether, because their businesses will be unique. </span></span><br />

<div style="color: #333333; font-family: arial, sans-serif; margin-bottom: 14px; margin-top: -4px; padding: 0px;">
<em>Elon Musk</em> spotlights the technology and vision of Elon Musk, the renowned entrepreneur and innovator behind SpaceX, Tesla, and SolarCity, who sold one of his Internet companies, PayPal, for $1.5 billion. Ashlee Vance captures the full spectacle and arc of the genius’s life and work, from his tumultuous upbringing in South Africa and flight to the United States to his dramatic technical innovations and entrepreneurial pursuits.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: arial, sans-serif; margin-bottom: 14px; margin-top: -4px; padding: 0px;">
Vance uses Musk’s story to explore one of the pressing questions of our age: can the nation of inventors and creators who led the modern world for a century still compete in an age of fierce global competition? He argues that Musk—one of the most unusual and striking figures in American business history—is a contemporary, visionary amalgam of legendary inventors and industrialists including Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Howard Hughes, and Steve Jobs. More than any other entrepreneur today, Musk has dedicated his energies and his own vast fortune to inventing a future that is as rich and far-reaching as the visionaries of the golden age of science-fiction fantasy.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: arial, sans-serif; margin-top: -4px; padding: 0px;">
Thorough and insightful, <em>Elon Musk</em> brings to life a technology industry that is rapidly and dramatically changing by examining the life of one of its most powerful and influential titans.<br />

<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: small; font-weight: normal;">Both Eric Schmidt and Jonathan Rosenberg came to Google as seasoned Silicon Valley business executives, but over the course of a decade they came to see the wisdom in Coach John Wooden's observation that 'it's what you learn after you know it all that counts'. As they helped grow Google from a young start-up to a global icon, they relearned everything they knew about management. How Google Works is the sum of those experiences distilled into a fun, easy-to-read primer on corporate culture, strategy, talent, decision-making, communication, innovation, and dealing with disruption.The authors explain how the confluence of three seismic changes - the internet, mobile, and cloud computing - has shifted the balance of power from companies to consumers. The companies that will thrive in this ever-changing landscape will be the ones that create superior products and attract a new breed of multifaceted employees whom the authors dub 'smart creatives'. The management maxims ('Consensus requires dissension', 'Exile knaves but fight for divas', 'Think 10X, not 10%') are illustrated with previously unreported anecdotes from Google's corporate history.'Back in 2010, Eric and I created an internal class for Google managers,' says Rosenberg. 'The class slides all read 'Google confidential' until an employee suggested we uphold the spirit of openness and share them with the world. This book codifies the recipe for our secret sauce: how Google innovates and how it empowers employees to succeed.'</span></div>

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: small;">In his doctoral thesis, the author, Stephen. R. Covey, found a contrast in the self-help literature existing through generations. While the books from 1920s onwards focused on personality traits, the older books stressed on character development. The author believes that a balance must exist between the two, but he also maintains that character development is more fundamental in nature.The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People thus focuses on the values which comprise of character ethics on which the personality ethics has to be built. These values include integrity, courage, a sense of justice and honesty. This book discusses the seven main habits which one must adopt to live a more fulfilling life. The author also takes the readers through three stages of character development.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">The stages of character development range from the time when a person is born and is dependent on others for survival to the time he grows and later learns to live with others. Distilling vast amounts of information into engrossing narratives that take us from the boardrooms of Procter & Gamble to sidelines of the NFL to the front lines of the civil rights movement, Duhigg presents a whole new understanding of human nature and its potential. At its core, "The Power of Habit" contains an exhilarating argument: The key to exercising regularly, losing weight, being more productive, and achieving success is understanding how habits work. As Duhigg shows, by harnessing this new science, we can transform our businesses, our communities, and our lives. </span></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: small;">There is a paradigm in the universe that is the kernel for the success of people in their lives. This paradigm is hidden and has been known only to very few historically exceptional people. The elements of the paradigm are visible only in bits and pieces to the majority of the human beings. What if the unkempt paradigm is clearly compacted and present to the world? What if the 'secret' is revealed? Rhonda Byrne, the author of the book, the Secret, presents such an ultimate secret which will unveil the formula for a successful life. The Secret is a self-help book which relies on the dogma that the universe is governed by a law called the law of attraction. According to the law of attraction, one attracts what one focuses on primarily. If a person spends his/her life focusing on positive thoughts, then the person will supposedly attract positive energy and positive results; the same is the case with attracting negative energy. This belief is based on the idea that both people and their ideas are made up of energy and thus one can influence the other upon will and exercise one's wishes and obtain happiness in life. The book intends to render its readers a way to attain their ambitions in life and be successful.</span></span></div>

<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: small; font-weight: normal;">Think and Grow Rich is the best motivational literature that I ve come across. I was involved in a certain marketing stint during my engineering, and this book was suggested to me by a friend, who is today one of the finest motivational speakers. The book presents the essential commodities for success, in the simplest terms possible. The book is build with research conducted by Napoleon Hill for over 25 years, interviewing successful people like Andrew Carnegie, Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell to name a few.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: small; font-weight: normal;">This is a very good inspirational book. This edition contains commentary adding more examples of today. It will definitely change the way you think. I firmly believe that the methods described in the book can make anybody who follows them extremely successful. A must read for anybody who wants to be successful. I have just finished reading it, and I am going to go over it again.</span></div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibqnbzyhynZOgUauFVFgUR-kql13pjMz7EDNNoSqca_T3flNX8Vyg8Ne0T6_LPvUBA2_Fx4pcUPAByxiHL8TDNnX5ziq8Q2-VKhDZgjF3SNjLdaDnWZjZ2M6pnUbwwmkHw6l6H4PUD0SU/s1600/entrepreneur-593378_1920.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibqnbzyhynZOgUauFVFgUR-kql13pjMz7EDNNoSqca_T3flNX8Vyg8Ne0T6_LPvUBA2_Fx4pcUPAByxiHL8TDNnX5ziq8Q2-VKhDZgjF3SNjLdaDnWZjZ2M6pnUbwwmkHw6l6H4PUD0SU/s640/entrepreneur-593378_1920.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: left;">The concept of idea book is not new even though its name may have been used interchangeably as a scribble book. Idea book basically is a book devoted to scribbling ideas and plans that you have for the near future. For instance for a person like me who is a freelancer it will be to write ideas about the blog post that I would like to publish. For a corporate worker it might be for writing his project plans and proceedings and also can take a form as a todo list. One more important thing about it is it does not have to organised, its your scribble book and mainly focuses on expressing your ideas and not displaying them. So this is definitely a must have at every work desk.</span></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>2. STICKY NOTES</b></div>
<div>
<b></b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnOjHTfnT7c9IcSg_SFo3z7Jiex2lG_QJ8fhI8sXRA3bLjK5rhaI5znjoFibFU5I-uLXwuOtyNk3cZDikX7Od6P6yJB94qkINY8iwitHD_XZZHYTA95AveAF5q_IJ8TsrozpDYif48paA/s1600/balance-865087_1920.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnOjHTfnT7c9IcSg_SFo3z7Jiex2lG_QJ8fhI8sXRA3bLjK5rhaI5znjoFibFU5I-uLXwuOtyNk3cZDikX7Od6P6yJB94qkINY8iwitHD_XZZHYTA95AveAF5q_IJ8TsrozpDYif48paA/s640/balance-865087_1920.jpg" width="640" /></a></b></div>
<b>
</b></div>
<div>
There is no thing as beautiful as having a nice quote to motivate you every time you sit at your work desk. I have nearly 4 to 5 quotes on sticky notes which inspire me, which are related to success, life, happiness and work-life balance. Actually the quotes can be about anything which gets you started. The sticky notes can also be used as reminder. For instance every one must have faced this situation in which we leave our work desk due to some interruptions and after coming back again which have forgotten some important thing which we were about to do. At that time it is necessary to have written 'what to do next' on your desk, so that you do not leave out something important.</div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>3. LAPTOP/PC</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjN-_pq5BNrtySBvpmsGwfc1OOI7b_sH9v4QSSg3DMrqfo_Z0P0H739FPjwPdUvswd6wBXkjpsczBTL-IUzJhaQp28XSuoE8eJRe7w_Ie7VP8yQqJUJc-vJOm3aUGo9uzmCV_OzNVbLquc/s1600/home-820389_1920.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjN-_pq5BNrtySBvpmsGwfc1OOI7b_sH9v4QSSg3DMrqfo_Z0P0H739FPjwPdUvswd6wBXkjpsczBTL-IUzJhaQp28XSuoE8eJRe7w_Ie7VP8yQqJUJc-vJOm3aUGo9uzmCV_OzNVbLquc/s640/home-820389_1920.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Now don't get me wrong, I know most of have a PC or laptop at his or her work desk, But I wanted to stress this point as perspective of student. As a student i had a lot instances in which i didn't understand a particular topic particularly and had a lot of doubts, at that time quickly googling a particular topic definitely helps and avoids further frustration. And definitely recommended for work desk no matter what job you do.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>4. A BOTTLE OF WATER</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJuKgtchF4pSZvC3vYUL_2t8fqiARw7zF8i-jkR8kd7AL1nH-NLSryjnorCTGTAgyqleHXqf0UQhGDv1wH3NnG4Bq-nHm-BcTkZ1cC78sjbVixgEjVMZbc_9ctHmehwkG5NE-TbcXXoCE/s1600/water+bottle.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="280" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJuKgtchF4pSZvC3vYUL_2t8fqiARw7zF8i-jkR8kd7AL1nH-NLSryjnorCTGTAgyqleHXqf0UQhGDv1wH3NnG4Bq-nHm-BcTkZ1cC78sjbVixgEjVMZbc_9ctHmehwkG5NE-TbcXXoCE/s640/water+bottle.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
There is nothing good as water for refreshing your brain after getting stuck. A lot of time I am stuck at a particular problem not knowing what is going wrong. At that time it definitely helps to turn your chair around and clear your mind. I usually drink water and take a small walk inside the office to get myself fresh again and never has this disappointed me. So a bottle of water on desk is a good habit.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>5. EARPHONES</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnkSXVniLm_TguR6JrHTwhhw3xrFPHq9kmZbTOF73uWZUQiR-qC-JXO-YoSOZudXPbtcgOFvsIM9x4EtBgIVP7ga3DiuvN6KN-JeW2ik1GmlEU18BZklNLkUEt1rByeXJfVRXsb2pW0-o/s1600/earphones-893156_1920.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="372" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnkSXVniLm_TguR6JrHTwhhw3xrFPHq9kmZbTOF73uWZUQiR-qC-JXO-YoSOZudXPbtcgOFvsIM9x4EtBgIVP7ga3DiuvN6KN-JeW2ik1GmlEU18BZklNLkUEt1rByeXJfVRXsb2pW0-o/s640/earphones-893156_1920.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I am a big fan of 10 min break, and want to spend this time . Plugging your earphones in the phone and listening to your favourite songs takes me in a completely different world. For some it might be a DJ song for others it might be light instrumental. It always helps in distressing yourself. For me my current song is The nights by Avicii, you can check it out <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtF6Jej8yb4" target="_blank">here</a>.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>6. CLOCK</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXKY1t7PJeIDKEwxDttDdVHUFDLlJAbXXHssDqSRPWjcc808IeeHuZO6F0m4FGLo98AEjDTOghdeqn9KKO7bcMaKguGAarr1LyYAmuwxmPqA5fEgXd7URUmSAYWXzVmOCzq1VWWh3_H3g/s1600/alarm-clock-219613_1920.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXKY1t7PJeIDKEwxDttDdVHUFDLlJAbXXHssDqSRPWjcc808IeeHuZO6F0m4FGLo98AEjDTOghdeqn9KKO7bcMaKguGAarr1LyYAmuwxmPqA5fEgXd7URUmSAYWXzVmOCzq1VWWh3_H3g/s640/alarm-clock-219613_1920.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<b><br /></b></div>
<div>
Its true that work like that that time makes no sense or you don't realise how time passed, but it has its limitation. Its also extremely important to have time for your health and family. A lot of time during work I forget to eat and when work increases my exercise schedule takes toll. This might help you complete your work but will have problems in long run and advice everybody to give importance to their personal life and health. This makes it necessary to have clock on your work desk.</div>
<div>
I would like to quote Mahatma Gandhi for this:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">'<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-size: 14px;">It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver'</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">We would love to hear about the things you keep on your work desk, let us know in the comment section below!</span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgROI0bq9d9_oOj4n9EJO2Tq0uTuPC0WxMj4b9qVCj-h6-3KyiF80T9pRfR_dyuozEBlVwjxrB5TGy8YeSwwhj_iEKifZUZ0sZNnhbYUOq_UMp1zJvkW-Jt48jADIt0dSeZ-5aeG0lmKzA/s1600/adsense.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgROI0bq9d9_oOj4n9EJO2Tq0uTuPC0WxMj4b9qVCj-h6-3KyiF80T9pRfR_dyuozEBlVwjxrB5TGy8YeSwwhj_iEKifZUZ0sZNnhbYUOq_UMp1zJvkW-Jt48jADIt0dSeZ-5aeG0lmKzA/s200/adsense.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
This was a shock in my face when this actually happened, the screen which stated clearly 'Your Adsense account has been disapproved'</div>
<div dir="ltr">
</div>
<br />
<div dir="ltr">
I will try to keep this article as brief as possible but will cover all the corners. This is how it goes!</div>
<div dir="ltr">
My blog was just under a months old when I was provided with the option of monetisation through Google Adsense. Was delighted and went to access Adsense through Earning>>Adsense in the blogger submenu. Registration of account was required, so I went ahead added my name and email and went forward with the registration. Everything was cool, no biggies here, was able to place ads on the blog. So I was very happy, to have ads on my Blog!</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
Then the next day came the big shock! I went to the blog to see how its performing, and I saw no ads there. Was surprised at the first attempt, the went to the Adsense section and there it was!</div>
<div dir="ltr">
"YOUR ADSENSE ACCOUNT HAS BEEN DISAPPROVED"</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
After digging into this and finding a email in my mail box. I realised a simple mistake and went on to correct it which also didn't go well.</div>
<div dir="ltr">
I previously had an Adsense account associated with a different email id, which employed the same payee name which I had provided in this account. The account was my youtube account which I had created when I was 16 to publish freeware and software tutorials ( you might wanna check it out here <a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/hollywoodbollywood97" target="_blank">HB97</a> ). And Adsense didn't approve for individuals to have association with two accounts. Definitely didn't knew that! So the solution which I thought to this problem was simple delete the Adsense account of my current Id and use the old Adsense account to link with my blog.</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
Well I deleted the old Adsense account and google was not allowing me to associate my old Adsense account to this Blog. So now I was in a fix, I had deleted my current Adsense account even after reactivating it google wouldn't let me inside and couldn't associate my older account to this blog.</div>
<div dir="ltr">
So I thought I am trapped in a system crack and not even a single webpage outlined a solution to this problem. Had it happened it would have been a serious setback.</div>
<div dir="ltr">
After lot of finding on the net I found solution given by google which was even a fluke in my case. But I so desperate that I was ready to try it too. So I tried it and it worked! It still shows disapproved for my current account but now I can display ads on the behalf of earlier account.</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
This is what I did-</div>
<div dir="ltr">
I accessed my older account and made my current account as administrator, which I accepted the invite through email as I was not able to access my account. This made it possible to have my previous and this account to have same address and I can get payment through one of the account! A detailed explanation of this process is given <a href="https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/2659101?hl=en&ref_topic=2659100" target="_blank">here</a>.</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
So never ever create two accounts having the same payee name! This leads to violation of Adsense policy and the results are disastrous.</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
Hope this article was able to shade some light and please let me know your experience in the comment section so it can help other bloggers.</div>

<br /></div>
Even though blogging is fun and self engaging, a lot of people have fear and self limiting beliefs which holds them back. So below I have stated 3 fears and self limiting beliefs along with solution for overcoming it.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Shyness: "I am scared to share my thoughts with the world"</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiShW3ZjiNOjiIVu3_d6OK_Mmnor6d055Ne0kWGpHoLFzSeS2CtZAkqq-5_FZYW8uQ8GNvoqmCmwb5cPeht78TzJEB1NZu71mpR7o47txXli2ezTpCLcNlmxQ1PnK4KrWF56G34DeIrtTo/s1600/shy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="358" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiShW3ZjiNOjiIVu3_d6OK_Mmnor6d055Ne0kWGpHoLFzSeS2CtZAkqq-5_FZYW8uQ8GNvoqmCmwb5cPeht78TzJEB1NZu71mpR7o47txXli2ezTpCLcNlmxQ1PnK4KrWF56G34DeIrtTo/s640/shy.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This is a most common problem every blogger has at least once been dazzled by. The question starts as what would others think about my post? is it good enough? how will people react to it? will they like it ? and they go on and on and on. Soon rather than being positively excited about how people will react this turns into stress and anxiety. This turn becomes more magnified when the person is sharing his emotions or delicate information which he or she values. This is a kind of feeling of vulnerability which holds you down.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The solution for this fear is being excited about what will people comment and taking it in a positive way for improving your blog. This definitely needs confidence. So the advice is to start off small. Start by posting a tweet or share in Facebook about your recent posts to your friends and close ones, or maybe you are scared to share it with your friends then share it to a completely anonymous person.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Anyway starting off small will definitely help and build your confidence.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Fear of Failure</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZjet7qnhY_fh0J0Y-c1-7_kKC9SdSMcaEBzJ-j2W0mu4cI-iS7D_avJZqTvrKNYfAyYQrofqvO0vOqSZCAq7yNCLlPMK4pVWzUKmzUs9wrPtYOSn4-E4l5qlz0iQWxpXyyI9cg0VN2Ig/s1600/fear+of+failure.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZjet7qnhY_fh0J0Y-c1-7_kKC9SdSMcaEBzJ-j2W0mu4cI-iS7D_avJZqTvrKNYfAyYQrofqvO0vOqSZCAq7yNCLlPMK4pVWzUKmzUs9wrPtYOSn4-E4l5qlz0iQWxpXyyI9cg0VN2Ig/s640/fear+of+failure.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Lot of people don't even try or don't take the needed leap, because they are scared they might not achieve what they desired.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Its not important whether you achieve success of not, whats important is that you tried because at the end of the day when you are tired and lying in the bed it would really make a difference to know that you tried your best. This <a href="http://pavedlife.blogspot.in/2016/01/stop-following-success.html" target="_blank">article</a> will properly explain this topic in deep. In the end with practice you will be able to take more risks and be able to benefit from them.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Imposter syndrome: I am not good enough</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUEQYB7o3Z_VGNanURha2D8qBZMnuDhrMIUTfYjQ1UBzqluDtOTlqiAJZkPahBPy7SOblhdtf31s_wSsnSQADfGCV4yNI3v1uywVLqyVBUFNiewT89LRjTKnnuVbLff_IPZRXBw8DB2v0/s1600/imposter+syndrome.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="364" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUEQYB7o3Z_VGNanURha2D8qBZMnuDhrMIUTfYjQ1UBzqluDtOTlqiAJZkPahBPy7SOblhdtf31s_wSsnSQADfGCV4yNI3v1uywVLqyVBUFNiewT89LRjTKnnuVbLff_IPZRXBw8DB2v0/s640/imposter+syndrome.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Many people think that they have to be an expert in order to write a great article on a particular topic or they feel they are lying to others about what they know. They think that they need years of experience to feel qualified to write about it and maybe a degree about it may suffice. This is definitely not true and is a setback for people who think this way.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The beauty about blogging is that its your own experience thats speaking. You don't have to be an expert in a particular field to write about it, you can be a writer who knows about playing a piano because who have played it and feel connected to it rather than having learnt how to play all songs on it. This <a href="http://pavedlife.blogspot.in/2016/01/a-t-least-one-time-in-your-life-you.html" target="_blank">article</a> will properly explain this topic in deep.Moreover 'expert' is a relative term, and differ from person to person. So the article you write might be really helpful for a person out there!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Last but not the least, don't get discouraged! You started blogging because you felt this was your thing and is still your thing, accept constructive criticism and have patience!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Let me know what are your thoughts about this topics in the comment section below!</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
"You do not owe it to yourself to achieve stuff, but you owe it to others who don't have a winning lottery ticket to cash on from and would do anything to have it"</div>
<br />
<br />
Our achievement and goals were not built in a days handwork, it took months and years to achieve them. And no doubt handwork was the main reason behind success. But there was something more to it.<br />
<br />
It was our attitude or perspective of life that helped us to achieve more in life and get unexpected opportuniites. It was not just luck that you happened to be at right place at the right time. It took was summation of lot of moment when you knew that you are not going to achieve but giving it a little more try, failing to give up even if the loss was imminent, and learning from losing and coming back stronger.<br />
<br />
It was difficult, hell awfully difficult. Those last moments when knowing this is what needs to be done to achieve but giving up was a tempting option.<br />
<br />
But we have all gone past those moments by pulling ourself together and keeping the focus on the goal.<br />
<br />
What paid you off was your attitude and your perspective of life, and the saddest part is it was never taught to us nor valued. We were told winning is very good, with no way how to achieve it. Perspective and attitude is not something which you sit and just develop it all at once, you plant seeds little by little amount daily, give it proper water and soon you could enjoy the fruit.<br />
<br />
Keeping this in mind, I am also going to blog about small tips and hacks for life which will change your perspective and attitude in much subtler way leading to a if not best a better life.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Happy Living!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQqGccu10b1qPcRJ7QQ_9yYgBCoPe02bJWKv_hOotQ3DLE6g2dlp7mW2k9_06b-SiMS0PI5A-aRJaOZQ9jZp0XB7jXb8hqSj-xBnX3i2Gwt5neYXlBx2genCL9i0O_skk9EoRJAi_ykLo/s1600/book.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="425" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQqGccu10b1qPcRJ7QQ_9yYgBCoPe02bJWKv_hOotQ3DLE6g2dlp7mW2k9_06b-SiMS0PI5A-aRJaOZQ9jZp0XB7jXb8hqSj-xBnX3i2Gwt5neYXlBx2genCL9i0O_skk9EoRJAi_ykLo/s640/book.png" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
I love reading books be it textbooks, magazines, encyclopedias, articles, you name it and i will have browsed through it. I am an information consumer and most of my books are usually of self help which will help me to improve the quality of my life. So there is a sense of urgency for me to read this books. No doubt there is a different satisfaction to read a book while relaxing and taking a sip of coffee but I want to cover as many ideas as quickly as possible giving me more time to implement this ideas. If that strikes to you and you can relate with it, then this article is for you!</div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
As you might have known traditional reading, in which you start from a word from left and got o the right word by word till you reach the end and repeat it for the next line is hardly a way which can overcome this situation.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
This brings me to the techniques of Skimming and Scanning. This are great techniques which I rely on everyday. Both of this techniques are interdependent and its maximum effects can be obtained with using the combination of them both. It is especially helpful to students and analysts but nevertheless can be used by anybody who loves to read.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Now I will not bore you with the definition of Skimming and Scanning which can be found on wikipedia but I will tell you a gist of it and important of all how to effectively use it.<br />
<br />
<span style="background-color: #cccccc;">Skimming is a method of taking a quick view of the material to get the main ideas and the general overview of the content.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="background-color: #cccccc;">Scanning is a method in which the person rapidly covers a great deal of material in order to locate a specific fact or piece of information.</span></div>
<div>
<br />
If you are more interested to know about it, then just click <a href="https://www.aacc.edu/tutoring/file/skimming.pdf" target="_blank">here</a>.<br />
<br />
There is a certain to go about in order to use this methods to there maximum extents. I initially though to write them in a paragraph form but realised that writing in steps would be much easier to understand and would help you exchange steps in whichever order suits you the most. The words skimming and scanning are not used instead I directly described it using simple language<br />
<br />
So without further ado lets directly jump to it!<br />
<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>First just quick look the material and go through it briefly. This includes reading the contents page, looking at any illustrations and diagrams if any, giving focus to sentences written in bold and italics, and reading the starting and the ending sentence of paragraph also helps.</li>
</ul>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>Now as you gotten an idea of what the content is all about, now its time to take it all in. This can be accomplished by rereading the main points, creating an outline structure of what you just read just like a mind map and finally reflecting on the material.</li>
</ul>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>Now as you have you have structured the whole information and know your way in and out of it, the time has come to completely digest it and find it tricky points and loop holes. This includes explaining the information to somebody, having a debate about it, consulting other sources whether it is correct and how aligned it is and if possible to gain first hand experience of it.</li>
</ul>
<div>
This is the method I use daily and it has never let me down. Sounds like a lot work in the first attempt and as you do this over and over it just becomes a habit which is done on its own. Remember practice makes you perfect!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Do you have any techniques and experiences that might help reading a more efficient and more better? Please feel free to write them in the comments section below!</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRxkgKEpiell5y9QUGagJ7LcCOP8y6Gg1ehUSGhpUVRER92E8wGBv013OEPzKUrplfdujs_5RS07Xt6S_H06FHp7DwcS80cduo13w5B4b9KuCDe1MtwuwAazue2GoBaJiH7zM8lQB177E/s1600/success.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRxkgKEpiell5y9QUGagJ7LcCOP8y6Gg1ehUSGhpUVRER92E8wGBv013OEPzKUrplfdujs_5RS07Xt6S_H06FHp7DwcS80cduo13w5B4b9KuCDe1MtwuwAazue2GoBaJiH7zM8lQB177E/s320/success.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">S</span>top following 'SUCCESS', quiet a counter advise to hear at first at todays time where the world wide web is flowing with articles based on how to be more successful, how to achieve success in least amount of time and the titles go on and on.<br />
<br />
So lets get into the shallow waters first then we will be going into the deep ones.<br />
<br />
Nowadays life has taken a different turn, work in mounting up, deadlines are being shortened, working hour have known to have no limits leading to increase of stress, pressure and variety of diseases like blood pressure, diabetics, and so on.<br />
Our world has become small, were every one focuses on his goals to accomplish, his success to achieve and his mind is always preoccupied with thoughts of how to achieve it. The word free time is rarely heard now. We live in a world were don't know who our neighbours are, forgetting birthdays of special ones has become a norm and 'screen in front of eyes wherever we go' has become our tagline.<br />
But from inside we know this is not the right thing, there should be something more.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>No doubt success is good,but is it all that is there to life?</i></div>
<br />
How about a life is which where you are pursuing what you want not for the success and glamour of it, but simply because you like it. A world where the result even though important, is not something which is pursued, but is simply a landmark.<br />
A world were the student studies because he wants to learn and enjoyed reading and not because the result should be good. A world were man works in his office to add value to the community along with his his personal goals. A world were money is important but its right place is known.<br />
<br />
This thinking has changed my life, it took me sometime to accept and get used to this philosophy as it was something I didn't want to hear, but the results are huge. I no longer feel the tug that I am lagging behind, no stress about not achieving, or about what people might say, no hurry and feeling of not having time instead I tend to understand people more, my satisfaction level with my work has tremendously increased, and a certain level of peace has been achieved, and surprisingly I am able to accomplish more at the end of the day with better quality.<br />
<br />
It doesn't take a revolution or a huge reform to achieve peace of mind and satisfaction in work, it simply requires shift of attitude by 33.4 degree (humour is also important :) )<br />
<br />
And for me it simply started with an open statement:<br />
<br />
<span style="background-color: #cccccc;">STOP FOLLOWING SUCCESS</span><br />
<br />
<br />
Let me know what you think about the topic in the comment section below.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifFzzNXR9y_LkmUgnDWfoe_4hPAZLv7ECskHelyn-rPRyTr10JRISGBISg1Po8PQ4HqEOpk8UJ2LPWoDh3wz0nVyqwV4DcauPW3oxHaI0WSntwu8CHjg1O-K6uRzBpWA6QDnbBvqNQdnU/s1600/Cartoon-anger-2015.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifFzzNXR9y_LkmUgnDWfoe_4hPAZLv7ECskHelyn-rPRyTr10JRISGBISg1Po8PQ4HqEOpk8UJ2LPWoDh3wz0nVyqwV4DcauPW3oxHaI0WSntwu8CHjg1O-K6uRzBpWA6QDnbBvqNQdnU/s320/Cartoon-anger-2015.png" width="316" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">A</span>t least one time in your life you must have felt the feeling of being incompetent. The feeling that you are not performing at your best, that you can do much more than that, that you can be better than this. For some its a feeling that they deal with on a daily basis, with whatever you would ending being fed up. That frustration!<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The response of some of the people to this situation is to retreat in there safe zone called as the comfort zone. This sure is a defensive measure but would surely miss you a lot of opportunity to grow and learn and valuable experience which can be gained by trying new things of uncertainty maybe lost.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So ruling the comfort zone solution out, leaves us one solution which keeps us competent, learning and growing and yet at the same time feeling adequate.</div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The solution is not a magic pill that once you know it you are done, Its something you need to follow at every thing you do and every decision you make. It requires 'DISCIPLINE', a word that many hate but without it things cannot be achieved.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So all the things made clear here is the only quote you need to follow:</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<span style="background-color: #cccccc;">"Try not be the best, but do your best"</span><br />
<br />
Don't just read the quote analyse the quote to its depth.<br />
The frustration results from not being able to be the best in your peer group, association or wherever you are. The truth is being the best in the group is not in our hand, there are lot of factors involved and many a times its simply depends on the members of the group.<br />
But what is in over hand is to do our best, to simply do our best.<br />
<br />
No matter what activity you want to do let it be sport, studying, accomplishing targets, business, entrepreneurship no matter what it might be, follow the rule of doing your best and I can guarantee it will never let you down.<br />
<br />
Hope this article helps to achieve the things you desire, remember this rule and follow it with discipline. <span style="background-color: #cccccc;">As discipline is like filing a metal with each subsequent stroke its get easier paving a way for the next stroke.</span></div>

This is 4th of Jan and my second semester commences on this day. Woke up at 6 am, bit excited for a new chapter of engineering, yet a bit sad as the holidays were a good prospect too :P<br />
Todays lecture are maths, physics, cp, mechanics ranging from 9 to 4. It seems that today is going to be hectic for me as I am not used to it for lot of days now. I have my train at 8:01, better be ready quick.<br />
<br />
The day was quiet good, but got so tired after coming home that I just slacked to bed. Woke up an hour later and had dinner and slept again.<br />
<br />
I had 4 continues lectures that day followed by lab. We studied Gamma and beta function in math, which is quiet interesting, and by this function we can solve integration problems which are quiet unsolvable by normal methods. All other lectures preceded as me plan and was really bored at the end of 4th lecture. Anyways all was good and really enjoyed solving some math problems, and getting the answers correct in most of the cases :p<br />
<br />
I need to get a few gel pens and couple of notebooks before going to college.<br />
<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
<a href="https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=3015111397688062644" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"></a> <span style="font-size: large;"> I</span>ts new years noon while i am writing this post, having mixed feelings at this point. Last year was a hectic year for me, was trampled with studies and pressure of marks for getting admission in good engineering college. As a background i went to a local class and mostly studied on my own. At that time i didn't realise the magnitude of importance of this admission of engineering.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Time went by exams got closer, did my best, anxious wait for the scores to come out. I had a two month vacation after my 12th, but the tension never really washed away. Soon the results came and i had them on my computer screen. Were they bad? were they good? were the question that will immediately come to your mind. But i will not bore you with numbers, it was decent score on the higher spectrum range, simply i scored good (92% in 12th and a decent jee score for the curious ones)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Time for admissions began and after one month of hectic wait and frustration whose detail i will spare, i got my admission in VJTI for electronics engineering.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #cccccc;"><span style="font-size: large;">A</span>bout my college</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-ea1IN0YVn4Y0JDo9C5_G573q9-LBJ-b8jdHiVCZKTk6_zz4u4gGZKJyQ8GEaCWSheR0v0WRE7NUGD0yVBaW_kj-4FZqJ1rEdYfdkWp5kl0TClBcOv5mq1WOaoDxdtRauG8bg4WzrobQ/s1600/vjtimap.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="425" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-ea1IN0YVn4Y0JDo9C5_G573q9-LBJ-b8jdHiVCZKTk6_zz4u4gGZKJyQ8GEaCWSheR0v0WRE7NUGD0yVBaW_kj-4FZqJ1rEdYfdkWp5kl0TClBcOv5mq1WOaoDxdtRauG8bg4WzrobQ/s640/vjtimap.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<span style="background-color: #cccccc;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<span style="background-color: #cccccc;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Actually it took me half of the semester to know the college itself. Its one of the prestigious colleges of Maharashtra and the oldest in Asia founded by British in 1887 formerly it was known as <span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #252525; font-family: sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute. It was awarded academic and administrative autonomy in 2004. And since then it has not looked back. Some questions of education standards of VJTI has been raised in the recent years which in will discuss in the future posts.</span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #252525; font-family: sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #cccccc;"><span style="font-size: large;">F</span>irst Semester</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white;">The first semester actually went away in figuring out what engineering is. We had two ISTs which are kind of units and then a final </span>sem. For those who don't know VJTI employs a pointer system, which is nothing but relative grading. For me the first sem was okay, managed to score a decent 9 pointer which i hoped to be above 9, but got stuck at the threshold itself, No worries though. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #cccccc;"><span style="font-size: large;">V</span>acation / Winter break</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=3015111397688062644" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a></div>
Although the best part was to get a 2 month vacation (winter break) after the first set, this was a real vacation i got after the 12th exam as i was no longer tensed of anything. I did really enjoy the 2 months, had really great plans but all the plans ended up on bed with me. We had college fest in this period the first was pratibimb which is a cultural fest of VJTI followed by technovanza which is a technical fest of VJTI. The IIT tech fest and VJTIs technovanza clashed as they were on the same day that is 26,27,28th of december. I think they could have adjusted a compromise as the clash would result in lesser audience on both of the sides. I don't have photos of fest but will make sure to show it to you guys nest time :)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXbBFr_yIjPvlDGOPCSyQlM0GAOsDCq4_6_B1aDfvXgZ_c6y-1-zw-qn0CEMB0FQ0H0Gj6tNuknh-GFkuFpC_OmW49TAAi-0AWgbiEOvu7jUKFbQXnFoliOvhIIRA3b7_9MRAFOAAFFYg/s1600/IMG_20151229_143047.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXbBFr_yIjPvlDGOPCSyQlM0GAOsDCq4_6_B1aDfvXgZ_c6y-1-zw-qn0CEMB0FQ0H0Gj6tNuknh-GFkuFpC_OmW49TAAi-0AWgbiEOvu7jUKFbQXnFoliOvhIIRA3b7_9MRAFOAAFFYg/s640/IMG_20151229_143047.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The vacation is now coming to and end with last few days left and starting of college is eminent ( shows my sadness to get back on routine :p )</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Anyways this is the journey so far, and now you are on this journey with me too. I would be fun to see how the next years turn out to be. Looking forward to write more posts :)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
